Ridge Trail Run

Before work today we ran 20 mile run from Brighton Ski Resort to Salamander Flats in AF Canyon (I was late to work).  I ran with my cousin training for Wasatch 100 race, so we ran part of the race route then departed from the course and ran down to the main AF Canyon trails, following the Ridge Trail most the way.  This is the most beautiful trail network in the Canyon by far.  Yes, it's rough and remote, but you won't get sustained views and high trails like this anywhere.  It was about 5400 ft vertical gain, with a net loss in elevation - see profile.  This is a MUST DO for the hearty mountain runner.
